Joanna: I first got into Voguing when I was invited to a party in South Korea back in 2016 and saw a Voguing choreography show by Kim Ran. I didn't know that kind of dance was Voguing, but I just instantly thought it was very sexy and attractive. It was completely different from anything I had seen before and it attracted me immediately. I started to know Voguing by attending Kim Ran's Vogue class. My enthusiasm for Voguing came to an end because I could barely find a place to learn in the country and I was always waiting for the right chance to learn again. Later, I went to South Korea with Victoria again in 2017, right when Archie (Grandmother of Ninja) opened VOGUE workshop in South Korea, and then held VOGUE choreography competition. I completely fell in love with VOGUE this time, and I began to learn and understand the whole ballroom culture step by step, also Victoria and I became best friends because of this special experience. After returning back to China, we had a chance to know Kenken Milan. Under his guidance, I suppose I have gained better understanding in VOGUE and ballroom culture. In 2018, I had my first walk ball -- Chengdu Kungfu Panda Ball. More luckily, we have met our mother Koppi Mizrahi, and we have always kept close contact with each other since then. After many times of communication at the Ball and the classes, we were honored to join the big family of Mizrahi on 26th of December, 2018. In 2019, we finally met our overall father Andre Mizrahi. In the same year we established DRAMABABY, which we focus on promoting the Ballroom culture, and we held our very first ball, which has been followed by many more. On December 26th of the same year, exactly one year after Victoria and I joined Mizrahi, we made a decision of great significance: Victoria and I have created our Kiki House Aisingioro with Haein, Daiki and Panda, who we have danced Vogue with together for more than two years.
Within less than a year, we have been holding almost 15 events together, I am thrilled that I could promote the ballroom culture with Victoria to everyone, each time it brings surprises and irreplaceable memories. We would like to let everyone observe and feel the love and great energy of the community, we will ensure to continue to do the same and we hope more people could feel the power we would like to bring to you!
蓉儿：第一次接触到voguing是2016年去韩国参加party，看到了Kim ran的一个voguing编舞show，当时并不知道这个舞种是voguing，只觉得非常sexy非常好看，和我之前看过的都不一样，一瞬间就深深吸引了我，当时我就上了kim ran的vogue课，开始了解voguing。因为当时国内几乎没有可以学习到voguing的途径，我对voguing的热情就此告一段落，我也一直在等待能再次接触到voguing的机会。后来2017年和朵儿一起再次前往韩国，正好碰到Archie（Ninja的Grandma）在韩国开设了vogue workshop，之后举办了vogue的编舞比赛，这一次我彻底的爱上了vogue，并开始一步一步去学习和深入了解整个ballroom文化，也是因为这一段经历，我和朵儿几乎成了形影不离的好姐妹。回国后，偶然的机会我们认识了kenken milan，在他的指导下，我觉得自己离vogue和ballroom文化又更进了一步。2018年，我迎来了第一次walk ball——成都kungfu panda ball，更加幸运的是，我们认识了我们后来的的妈妈Koppi Mizrahi，并一直保持着密切的联系。在后来多次ball与课上的交流后，2018年12月26日我们有幸加入了Mizrahi这个大家庭，2019年我们终于见到了我们的overall father Andre Mizrahi。同年我们创立了Dramababy，专注于推广ballroom文化，举办了我们人生的第一个ball，后来又陆陆续续举办了许多场ball。这一年的12月26日，在我和朵儿加入Mizrahi整整一年的日子，我们做出了一个具有非凡意义的决定：与朵儿还有一起跳vogue两年多的Haein,Daiki,Panda创建了我们的kiki house AisinGioro.
短短不到一年的时间，我们已经共同举办差不多15场活动了，每一次都给带来了很多惊喜和感动，我很开心我能与朵儿一起把ballroom文化推广给大家，让大家看到和感受到我们的爱与正能量，我们也将继续把这件有意义的事情做下去，希望有更多的人能够感受到我们想带给大家的力量！
During second year back in college, I was introduced by a friend to learn street dancing at The Fame dance studio. I first came into contact with Voguing there and met my current partner Joanna, we opened the door together to a whole new world. Then I went to South Korea to further our training with Joanna and my Voguing teacher Tuzi. I saw them held a Vogue Performance competition at Real Dance in Seoul and saw Archie Ninja's Judge Show. I met the Korean Voguers (juju extravaganza、kim ran、UU Milan、haejun.......) at Go Rabbit Studio, whose names were impossible to name at that time. And then I followed Kim Ran's Vogue class to explore beauty and more of the impossible in women, and could not get myself out of Voguing long after I got back from South Korea.
In 2018, I began to study Vogue and Ballroom culture more systematically from tutors such as Kenken Milan and Holie Ebony. In The same year, I became the very first member from Mainland China to join The Iconic House Of Mizrahi at the invitation Of Koppi Mizrahi. In 2019, I founded DRAMABABY with Joanna, which started our wonderful journey. In February of 2019, we went to Thailand to study VOGUE. In May, I went to Tokyo to discuss the source of VOGUE history and culture with Mizrahi's father, and learned about Ballroom from the one and only Legendary Mother Koppi in Aisa. In July of the same year, we held our first DRAMABABY Ball Vol.1 in Chengdu. In the following year, we held at least ten VOGUE-related events in Guangzhou, Chongqing and other regions, trying our best to cultivate Ballroom culture on a wider scale.
In three years of operating the community, I personally feel the love of everyone among the community, each of them is unique, there are lovely, individual, lively, dramatic in their own way, we could always help each other in the community, express ourselves truly, which is something I feel very proud of!
大二那年，在朋友的介绍下来到the fame舞蹈工作室学习街舞，在那里第一次接触到了voguing，第一次认识了现在合伙人Joanna蓉儿，打开了新世界的大门。之后我和蓉儿及我的voguing启蒙老师兔子一起来到韩国进修，在首尔的Real dance刚好碰见他们举行的vogue performance比赛，在那里看到了Archie Ninja的Judge show，看到了当时根本叫不出名字厉害的韩国Voguer们（juju extravaganza、kim ran、UU Milan、haejun.......）在go rabbit工作室，我随着Kim Ran的vogue课堂，一起探索女性的美和更多不可能，从韩国回来后，我还久久沉浸在voguing的魅力里。
2018年，我开始更加系统地学习跟随kenken Milan、Holie Ebony等老师学习Vogue和Ballroom文化，同年经Koppi Mizrahi邀请成为首位加入国际家族The Iconic house Of Mizrahi的中国大陆成员，2019年和蓉儿一起创办了Dramababy，开启了我们的奇妙之旅，19年2月我们一同前往泰国进修Vogue，5月前往日本东京与Mizrahi的father共同探讨Vogue历史文化的来源，与亚洲唯一Legendary Mother Koppi学习Ballroom相关知识，并在同年7月在成都举办了我们的首场Dramababy Ball VOL.1，而后的一年里，我们分别在广州、重庆等地举办了不下十场和Vogue相关的活动，尽我们可能地在更广的范围耕种Ballroom文化。
在运营社群三年时间内，我切身感受到了社群里的大家的真情实感，他们每个人都是独一无二的，有可爱的，有个性的，有活泼的，有drama的，大家能在一个社群里互帮互助，真实勇敢地表达自己，是一件让我感到无比骄傲的事!
